With 30 years experience in Whatcom County, primarily in the public sector, I bring a wealth of experience to meet your needs. By serving the public in positions of increasing responsibility in a variety of disciplines, I bring to you a well-rounded mix of skills and perspectives. Moreover, I am certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Value Methodology Associate (VMA), and a Public Works Executive (PWE), offering unique combinations of proven methodologies.
In addition to 30 years of experience, I've garnered positive relationships with local agencies, state officials and many private firms. I have leveraged key public/private partnerships that have resulted in quality projects such as Depot Market Square and Northwest Drive roundabouts for the city of Bellingham, and a city-wide ESCO project in Blaine. Currently serving on the WA State Design Standards Committee, I have also been on the Association of WA Cities Education Committee, and the Project Review Committee for the Capital Projects Advisory Review Board. Additionally I volunteered for the National American Public Works Association National Engineering and Technology Committee. As part of that role, where I was the Chairperson for the team that completed APWA’s new inspector certification training manual, and I authored two articles published in the APWA Reporter magazine. I have managed projects with varying complexity in Whatcom County, and to areas as remote as western Africa, where I was a project lead with Engineers Without Borders for sanitation and water projects. The variety and complexity of the projects I have managed allows me to apply practical solutions to provide the best service possible.
Whether you need to temporarily fill a staffing vacancy, augment existing staff, round out a project team, or complete a high-quality analysis, Whitewolf Engineering Services can provide this for you. With a low overhead and operating as sole proprietorship, Whitewolf Engineering Services provides quality, flexibility and value for services provided.
